Ground Course children

The course offer on treating the facial-oral tract will be supplemented by the Ground Course children from 2025.
This interprofessional course in theory and practice on the assessment and treatment of the oral tract and face in children and young people focuses on children and adolescents with complex disabilities and their special needs.

 

Specialised Course Face

From 2025, the previous Advanced Course Face will be offered as a Specialised Course, which has been expanded in terms of content to include new aspects of the treatment of facial nerve palsies.
Participation is possible even without completing the F.O.T.T.® Ground Course.

 

Instructor meeting

The F.O.T.T.® Instructors and the FOrmaTT Instructor candidates will meet on February 1st and 2nd 2025 to produce video material of patient treatments to be used for teaching purposes and to have a general exchange with each other.
The meeting will take place in Switzerland at REHAB Basel.

 

Consensus recommendations

The consensus recommendations on F.O.T.T.® were updated and adopted by 24 multi-professional experts in a Delphi process.
They are now available in German and English.

 

Swiss Quality Circle Facial Palsy

The Swiss Quality Circle for Peripheral Facial Palsy has been in existence since 2016 and consists of a group of speech therapists and physiotherapists with many years of experience in the treatment of peripheral facial nerve palsy.
